• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Plesk CP will not load on server that has worked fine for a year.

Regular Pleskian
It has been a great week for Plesk related problems and I wanted to thank Igor for his previous help and I hope he can get me looking in the right place figure out this issue.

I log in and out of my Plesk 9.5.4 mail server to manage accounts and add emails to the SA and Magic Spam whitelists. Last night all of a sudden, when I try to access the CP, I get my usual SSL cert error and I click Proceed Anyways (in Chrome) and it just sits there and does nothing. I have let it sit for 10 min or so and still nothing. I then SSH'd in and restarted plesk (/etc/init.d/psa stop /etc/init.d/psa start) and I tried to access the CP again. I followed my earlier routine and it sat on the SSL error page for a minute or so, then the CP loaded. I have had to do this 3 or 4 times today and each time it worked. Now it is not. I stop/restart plesk and then try and access the CP and it just hangs there.

I have root access to the server, so I can look at any specific logs to troubleshoot it, I just dont know where/what to look at.

Any tips or fixes?

Thanks in advance!

Turns out my /tmp partition was full from a 1GB repo_transport_tmp file that was 3 days old. I deleted it and now it works perfectly!

Thanks for the tip!
