Plesk/Debian Etch/Postgresql

Hi,

I've set up Plesk on a CLEAN Debian Etch server (what a pain to install Plesk) and installed Postgresql too. I've got a license for it. I see it in "Services" and the watchdog says it is ok. But when I start Plesk over /etc/init.d/psa start I see the following:

I've set up a user and a passwort for Postgresql. And I created over Plesk a DB, which I can't delete (when I try to drop it it shows me the login form again). I think something is wrong but I don't get it...

Another strange thing is that phppostgresadmin shows me the created db, but Plesk displays a count of 0 databases. This indicates me too that it isn't right connected to plesk. When I use poppostgresadmin over plesk I can login show the dbs but when I drop it it displays the login form and when I enter the password for my postgresql user which I defined over plesk, I can see:

2008-01-17 18:58:35 FATAL: IDENT authentication failed for user "admin"

But the log doesn't show me any other error messages. Does anybody know where could be the problem? Help would be really really nice. Please let me know if I can provide more information.
