• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Resolved Plesk EC2 License Change?

elecboy

New Pleskian
I have been deploying 2 or 3 Plesk a month in AWS. Today when I do my normal routine and I am setting up the Plesk server, I get a message that I need to have a license. What happened? I normally use this route without problems. The last time I deployed an Instance was like one week ago. Did the license change?

You can see in the image it says the software in this case Plesk in included.

We have not changed the licensing rules for AWS Plesk images. There is a possibility that when you deployed the image, the paid license did not arrive for it for some reason, and it continued to work with the trial license. In this case, I think you could ask Plesk Support assistance. They'll figure out what happened.

Just for reference, there was a bug found in version 18.0.37 that was creating the server with no license, and they fixed this.
