• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,

I have just been told that when people use file editor and switch it to WYSIWYG mode to edit simple HTML file it converts all special characters wrong. Like copyright sign (©) and a pound sign (£). Even when you don't change any of those on the site but you will change anything else like just a string and save it converts all these symbols to £ or ©. There is no way to get rid off it because if you will take a look at the HTML or pure text view it looks fine. Just on the server side you can see that £ or © is in the code. Everything is saved in UTF-8.

Any solution for that ?

Thank you.
