• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk GUI Timeout When Adding New or Editing Existing Mailbox

Mr Fett

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I'm experiencing an odd issue with the Plesk installation on my server. Sometimes, when I (or any customers) login to the web administrator portal and attempt to edit an email account (or create a new one), the page load never occurs. I never get a timeout message but it never completes either - the browsers just show the loading animation:

I've tried this in multiple browsers and from my PC and directly on the server itself.

If I reboot the server, the problem goes away for a while.

I was worried the server was over burdened so I increased the RAM to 8GB. The diskspace, RAM and CPU now have plenty of unused capacity but the problem persists.

Anyone else seen this or have any suggestions for diagnosing the problem?

Thanks

Bob

It is very difficult to say what is wrong there without Plesk log files investigation. Have you tried to troubleshoot it? Read Plesk documentation carefully about Plesk logs and Plesk troubleshooting.
