Resolved Plesk hostname

frdho

New Pleskian
Hello,

I'm running Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 on CentOS 7 and would like to access my plesk server through a name instead of the IP address.

www.ecubator.be is my main domain and would like to access plesk through http://server.ecubator.be.

I've configured the reverse DNS and made sure server.ecubator.be redirects to my plesk IP address, however, when I go to that page, the default web server page is still shown.

I've googled around but can't find anything related to this. Are there any plesk settings I need to change?

Thanks!!

create a subdomain into your panel with the hostname desired
check if dns is resolving to your domain into this server.
than try on browser.

after that implement the let's encrypt on this subdomain and apply to plesk panel to get ssl with error

I did all the above things, but I still get plesk default page.

server.ecubator.be resolves to my IP
server.ecubator.be is my hostname
server.ecubator.be is added as subdomain.

What else can I check?
