Could the forum clear up a few things for someone is very very new to Plesk and Unix

Is it possible to add php modules to the free plesk
If so how do I go about doing it

Is it possible to change the file/folder permissions of uploaded via plesk without enabling shell access

Sure adding modules to PHP is done outside of plesk, through your regular vendor channels.
