• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk is broken after upgrade to 9.0!

Hi Guys,

Hoping someone can help me on this real quick, one of our production servers is down after a few routine updates...

Here's the error I'm getting:
#!/usr/local/psa/bin/sw-engine-pleskrun The file /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/index.php is part of Plesk 9 distribution. It cannot be run outside of Plesk 9 environment.

There's plenty of disk space available, and it's a dedicated server (not a virtual server).

Thanks guys,

Steve

It may be caused by many things.

Try to check sw-cp error log:
# less /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log

maybe php -v would provide you with some info.

As an option - you can consider reinstall of sw-cp-server (# rpm -Uvh path/to/rpm).
