Issue Plesk is secured with a valid SSL certificate always Enabled

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

Is it possible to somehow reset Plesk Security Advisor?
Because it says that plesk is secured, but it isn't.
It was secured but I changed hostname.

Thanks

Hi Bogdan1,

how did you tell Plesk to update the hostname - specific settings in the Plesk database and at depending configuration files?

Did you at least try to use the "Plesk repair utility" in the first place to solve possible issues/errors/problems with your Plesk version and it's components?

Hey,
Yes, I tried to use plesk repair all -y.

I used this tutorial to change hostname https://kb.plesk.com/en/1793
So Tools & Settings > Server Settings.

Hi Bogdan1,

if I'm not mistaken, the "Plesk Security Advisor" takes the displayed menus and options from the "psa" - database directly, so I would consider to SEARCH for the specific certificate, which you formerly assigned to secure the Plesk Control Panel:

List server - certificates:
Code:
plesk bin certificate -l -admin

List domain - specific certificates:
Code:
plesk bin certificate -l -domain YOUR-DOMAIN.COM

Set a new DEFAULT - Plesk certificate:
Code:
plesk bin certificate -u "CERTIFICATE_NAME_AS_LISTED_WITH_THE_PREVIOUS_COMMANDS" -admin -default

plesk bin certificate -l -domain Old-domain.COM
is returning this.
Unable to get the list of certificates: domain old-domain.eu dos not exist

exit status 1

btw. old hostname domain isn't in Websites & Domains and has never been.

Hi Bogdan1,

pls. note, that certificates from the servers repository are listed with the "-admin" - option at the suggested CLI - commands. You can't add a certificate to a domain, which doesn't exist.

If you used the BASIC, default Plesk certificate ( self-signed ) to secure your old hostname, you certainly would have created a new "default" one by now, when you changed the hostname. Pls. consider to use the feature "Secure Panel" over you Plesk Control Panel ( => "Home > Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates" ) , while you choose one of the existent certificates in your repository.
