  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk MSSQL Restore Icon Missing

hostking

Regular Pleskian
Hi

We just moved from websitepanel to plesk a month ago and its working great. 1 thing we have issue with.

When we installed Plesk we did not select MSSQL 2014 in the add/remove page but setup a remote server manually and linked it to plesk. in the tools and settings section.

We cannot find a restore button even after setting a shared folder. How does one get the restore icon to appear.

We thought it may be because we didnt purchase the powerpack so we did that just now and waiting a few minutes but still does not appear. How to resolve this?

Note: We can create and delete databases and database users perfectly fine.

ok got the import icon appearing now

I was filling in username like sqladmin instead of \servername\sqladmin

After doing that all looks great.
