Issue Plesk Obsidian 18.0.14 - Too early to upgrade...

HoracioS

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

Today I upgraded Plesk from Onyx to Obsidian.
Unfortunately we will need to wait until more information will be available.

I upgraded but found these problems:
- After upgrade, all the sites show error 503 or 502
- License for ONYX will not work and is not compatible with OBSIDIAN

after these errors, the only solution was rebuild the backup to downgrade to ONYX.

Other problems found in some servers:
PLESK_18_0_14-dist | 2.9 kB 00:00
PLESK_18_0_14-extras | 2.9 kB 00:00
PLESK_18_0_14-thirdparty | 2.9 kB 00:00

I think 18.0.14 isnt ready to be tested now.
Plesk Obsidian (also called Plesk 17.9 LINK "Plesk 17.9 Preview receives the name of Plesk Obsidian Preview") is soon reaching the "Freeze"
So they have to set up the next version of Plesk where they can do all experimental things.
If you wanna test Plesk Obsidian itself go test Plesk 17.9 because it is now Plesk Obsidian :)

Hi @HoracioS

- After upgrade, all the sites show error 503 or 502

It will be good if you provide the autointaller3.log file and details what was wrong.

- License for ONYX will not work and is not compatible with OBSIDIAN

What type of license do you have? For now, Plesk Obsidian Preview doesn't support domain-based licenses. The best way, in this case, is to convert your license to an edition based model.
