  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk Panel 11.5.30 Cron problem

JuricaK

New Pleskian
Hello,
I need a command for cron job that runs the php file with the argument.
For example (php -q httpdocs/cron.php quick) where "quick" argument.

On webmin panel command (php -q /home /user/public_html/cron.php quick) works great.

Until now I always got an error
-> httpdocs/cron.php: line 1: ?Php: No such file or directory

Please help
thanks

Hi,

could you please check the first line of cron.php?
It probably starts with ?Php but it should start with <?php

Kristian

Hi Kristian,

my cron.php looks like:

<?php
require_once('config.php');
#################
#################
#################
?>

Tnx for your reply.

Hi,

same for config.php? :)

As long as this command does not run by shell, you won't be able to setup a working cron.
As we do not know what you have setup or if you have modified some files with some windows Editor or similar,
it's hard to tell. The issue is not Plesk related.

Regards,
Kristian
