• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk Panel 11.5 Help Desk not installable

Hello!

I'm new with this product and haven't found any solution for my Problem.

I got the message that I can install "Help Desk" application to provide users to send a support request via the panel. I read the administration guide but nothing is working. I clicked on "Install" at the "Help Desk" application and now I have a link at the left to install the feature. BUT when I click this link, I receive a warning message:

What's wrong with my Plesk Panel? The FQDN of my server is not the same as i use for my homepage/subscription.

Please try to use following method:

- Click the link Control Panel next to your site's domain name. Control Panel will open in a new browser window or tab.
- On the Home tab, click the osTicket link in the Applications group.
- Click Install.

Read the terms of license agreement, confirm that you accept them, and click Next.

To open all application settings, click the link Show All Settings and specify the following:
Path to the installation directory on the server.
Administrative access to the application. Leave the Grant administrative access to existing user option selected, and select Admin from the menu if you want to use your site's FTP account username and password for managing Help Desk.
Administrator's e-mail. Specify the Help Desk administrator's e-mail address.
Website name. For example, Company Name customer service portal.
Default system e-mail. Specify an e-mail address that you will advertise on your site as a means to contact your support engineers. For example, [email protected].
Database administrator's password.
Click Install.

Once installation is finished, you will be able to use the Help Desk link in the navigation pane of Server Administration Panel for configuring Help Desk and processing tickets submitted by your customers and customers of your resellers.

All this things I've already done. The application is installed at a subdomain. But now I notice that my domain is not already registered. So it can't be resolved. Could this be the reason why the message appears?

EDIT: I rebootet my server... No I have a normal link to my subdomain.
