Hi everyone!
we have a big problem with plesk 8 and ssl.
Google couldn't help us, the provider couldn't help us
and the ssl certificate's manufacturer neither.
We are trying to add a new certificate to a domain.
The certificate has been installed on a confixx server
before - no problems - everything was working fine.
Now we have tried to setup the same cert in plesk.
Problem: plesk is coming up with an error message.
Roughly translated:
This service is currently not available or misconfigured. Contact your provider. Internal Plesk error occurred: couldn't set Private Key : the format of the private key might be wrong
So we started searching on google and contacted rapidssl,
the provider... nobody had the slightest idea about what might be wrong with plesk or the way we were trying to install the certificate.
The certificate is working (on a confixx 3 server) so i doubt that there actually is a problem
with the private key.
Any ideas ? We are running out of ideas
