• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk + Qmail + BSMTP for some domains

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone here has a suggestion how to do bsmtp for some domains on our plesk 7 servers. The suggestion of using one pop3 emailbox and to let the customer read that emailbox from within for example microsoft exchange is no solution :(

From our point of view we need to do the following:
1. Create one mailbox with the catch all referring to that mailbox
2. Let spamassassin and clamav scan all the email
3. All the mail will be placed in the Maildir
4. A 'script' in a cron (each minute or something like that) checks if there are any emails in the Maildir and then sends those emails to the destination ip address (ip address of the customer).

Part 1 to 3 are no problem, the problem is part 4 :) Anyone has a suggestion how to get this to work?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry but if some forum admin reads this.. Can you please move this post to the 'how do i' section in the Plesk 7 Linux part? Thanks in advance!
