  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk Repair Fails - ERROR while trying to reread IP addresses from network interface

Hello,

I bit off a little more than I could chew by trying to upgrade PHP 5.1 to 5.3 and now my plesk server and websites are down :(

I have PHP 5.3 installed but my websites aren't rendering. I can ping the domains and the correct IP's are resolving but nothing is being displayed. I have about 6 websites on 3 IP's. This is Plesk 10.X

When trying to run bootstrapper.sh repair I get the following message:

===> Installing /usr/sbin/suexec replacement
Trying to backup original /usr/sbin/suexec... `/usr/sbin/suexec' -> `/usr/sbin/suexec.saved_by_psa'
done
Trying to install site isolation settings... config found. Nothing to be done Trying to reread IP addresses from network interfaces...
ERROR while trying to reread IP addresses from network interfaces
Check the error reason(see log file: /tmp/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper.120115.13.20.log), fix and try again

/tmp/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper.120115.13.20.log doesn't give any more information, it gives the same error message.

Thanks for any help.

What sort of output of following command:

# /usr/local/psa/bin/ipmanage -l

Hi Igor,

I'm not following what you mean me to do.

This is the exact build of Plesk running on CentOS: plesk-base-10.9.0-cos5.build109101029.17

/usr/local/psa/admin/plib/api-cli/ipmanage.php doesn't exist either

Any ideas anyone? The command line call

# /usr/local/psa/bin/ipmanage -l

is not working for me and seems to be the issue. I didn't mess with the psa directory all I did was uninstall/re-install PHP (upgraded to 5.3).

-Matt

# rpm -q psa-core
package psa-core is not installed
# rpm -V plesk-core | grep missing
#

This is PSA version info: 10.0.1 CentOS 5 109101029.17

Anyway to restore the missing data?

I ran /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/autoinstall and just select the current version I was on and it fixed the problems!

I will definitely not try to upgrade anything more on the server until I understand what I'm doing more clearly!!

Thanks for the help.
