• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Plesk Scheduled Tasks

Hi All,

My PLESK scheduled tasks do not run. Any task in Plesk does not, also not the default onces e.g. for running statistics. I see them appear in the windows 2003 Scheduled Task manager, but they do not run. Schedeled Task manager gives: Could not start.

Opening the task in the task manager also raises an error: General Page Initialisation failed. The error is: 0x8007000d.

Anyone has a clue?

It's unusual issue. Most probably that it bears local character. You need to check your schedule service.

Plesk/Windows 2003 Scheduled Tasks Fix

The below worked for me on my Windows 2003 VPS server. The root of my problem was moving servers via a Plesk backup and restore.

1. Delete the offending "SYSTEM" account tasks in Task Scheduler.
2. Stop the Task Scheduler
3. Delete all files in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\S-1-5-18
4. Restart the service (I'd restart the server as soon as possible, too).
