• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk Session Limit 8 Hours but Sessions Dropped Before That

Hi,

I have a customer with a dedicated server running Plesk 9.3.

The customer reports that while he's logged into Plesk, his sessions is being disconnected and he has to log in again, despite the session limit being 8 hours. So far, the problem is very intermittent and I have not been able to reproduce it from multiple computers on my end (but the customer reports that it happens from multiple computers on his end.) He's convinced it's a Plesk problem but I just don't see how it can be, or I'd be experiencing the behavior as well.

I suspect there has to be something on the client's end causing the session to disconnect/timeout but, I'm curious to know if anyone has any troubleshooting suggestions or can point me to some 'session' logs that user user logins and disconnects/logouts?

Thanks in advance.

Best,
