Plesk shows 0 mysql databases

William Hudson

New Pleskian
I updated Plesk to version 9 (now 9.2) some time ago but did not notice that the control panel now shows that I have no MySql databases (it shows the server and that it is connected, but the database count is 0). DB WebAdmin, in contrast, says there are 6. How do I get Plesk to reflect the correct number of databases?

I've had a dig through the forums but did not find anything relevant.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

William

Thanks, but even though the control panel shows 0 databases, it will not let me remove the existing server (I cannot tick the checkbox). Any other thoughts?

William

Hello,

I'd check plesk database if the databses are present in the psa database:

mysql -u admin -p`cat/etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa
select * from data_bases;

If this returns empty then you have to recreate the databses from plesk or insert the records manually(I wouldnt recommend the second.)

The first you can achieve by :

dumping all databases ;
delete manually from mysql (drop database xxxx -> not the plesk one or mysql one, just the dbs that are needed in plesk)
add them at the domains
reimport them.
