Hello dear Pleskians,
I have the following situation:
Server A -> running Plesk and being hidden primary DNS for all hostings
Server B -> running a server application
Now, on Server A, for a specific domain, I created a subdomain and changed the A record so that it points to the IP of Server B. Now when typing xx.servera.com one gets redirected to Server B.
But that's only part of what I want. What I need is that the subdomain is still accessible via xx.servera.com but every other request is sent to Server B which only hosts the server application, not the website, which shall reside on Server A.
Is that even possible by DNS or do I have to take a different approach. Any ideas?
Summary:
xx.servera.com should resolve to Server B BUT all web access requests should still be served by Server A running plesk.
Thanks!
