  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Plesk takes 5 minutes to create or edit a domain

Lorenzo Ansaloni

New Pleskian
Hi,
my Plesk Onyx Version 17.5.3 Update #4 has become very slow in every creation or editing operation.
For example, creating a new domain within a suscription takes 5 minutes.
During this 5 minute I run a htop I see the "/lib/systemd/systemd --system --deserialize 28" process that occupies 100% of the CPU.

Cattura.PNG
Code:
# ps afx

PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND
    1 ? Rs 149:46 /lib/systemd/systemd --system --deserialize 28

Can someone help me?
Thank you,
Lorenzo

Hello

I have exactly the same issue on Plesk Onyx v17.5.3_build1705170317.16 and Debian 8.9 x64
Plesk become very very long to use and after a while, apache is stopped without any log.
Even an SSH connection take a moment to etablish.

plesk is installed on a VM with Esxi 6.5

in panel.log we can find some occurences with:
Code:
/usr/sbin/apache2 processes are killed
Sep 30 21:39:55 pf4 suexec[10758]: pam_systemd(plesk_resctrl:session): Failed to create session: Connection timed out

Any ideas ?
