  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Plesk update (18.0.38)

Manumarquez

New Pleskian
With new Plesk update (18.0.38):
nginx: x-cache-status: BYPASS
what's going on?
No website optimization with Plesk Obsidian
Wordpress is dynamic, it needs caching at the server level
Everything is a lag compared to other control panels
I cannot understand that in 2021 there are such problems
It also does not support other alternatives such as Varnish

All silence:(
Plesk is not optimized to handle a large amount of web traffic, since:
Nginx siempre "Mis" (duración de la caché unos segundos)
Does not support Varnish
Does not support Redis
Memcached no es compatible
It is nothing positive for Wordpress

Does not support Redis

Does not support Varnish

Hello IgorG,
I don't like Docker, especially since I have 12 domains, in my case it gave me problems. For example, I installed Varnish and after a few hours all the websites down (502 Bad Gateway).
I also tried to install Memcached, without success, the server reported an error:
phpize: not found
ERROR: 'phpize' failed

I'm going to switch to another more professional control panel

Thanks for everything
