  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk Update Issues

Basic Pleskian
Plesk Panel 10.4.4 Update #19
OS: Centos 5, Linux 2.6.18-194.26.1.el5xen

A while back I have mentioned that ever since upgrading to Plesk Panel 10.1, I am no longer able to access the web based updater. When clicking the link Updates and Upgrades, it starts to load the page and expires before it even transfers to the update page (port 8447 page). The firewall has not been modified and everything has been updated through the Plesk panel. Also, when trying to load the web based updater, the autoinstaller script will sometimes be locked due to it.

Link that dies: https://domain:8443/admin/update/product/
Dies also: https://domain:8447/

Also, along with not being able to access the updater, I am also have trouble updating my PHP (I have to use the command line autoinstaller). The installer marks PHP as installed (not PHP 5.3) when I installed PHP 5.3 through the installer before. When I try to install it through the installer again, it says it cant until php-ioncube-loader-. Is uninstalled. If I try to yum remove the application, it marks Plesk Panel to be removed so I cant do that.

What do I have to do?

Code:
php -v
PHP 5.3.8 (cli)
Zend Engine v2.3.0
with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.0.5
