  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Plesk web deploy link not working

MICAH

New Pleskian
i downloaded the web deploy publishing settings from my Plesk account. The Web Deploy checkbox is enabled. However, the web deploy failed when i imported the web deploy settings into Visual Studio. It gave the error "the underlying connection was closed. An unexpected error occurred on a send". I went ahead and extracted the publishUrl variable and placed in a browser and it says "Secure Connection Failed". In the past, when webdeploy was working, i would be prompted to enter a user name and password if i entered the publishUrl variable in the browser.
Kindly assist us and review the link. Thanks
