  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk Web Server can't start after firewall activation

GuillaumeH

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

After activating Firewall rules in Plesk (8443 was authorized), the Plesk panel was not working anymore.

I have tried to shutdown the plesk's firewall using this command: /etc/rc.d/init.d/psa-firewall stop and then restart my server, but not Plesk don't work.

I received this mail from Watchdog:

The Plesk Web Server service on host xxxxxxx has been released from monitoring on avr 4, 2010 06:30
The Dr.Web antivirus service on host xxxxxx has been released from monitoring on avr 4, 2010 06:35

How can I make my Plesk working again? Thank you

Do you have any related errors in /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log when you restart psa service?

I've found the problem, it was relative to openssl update on CentOS. I've applied the Plesk patch and now everything is good
