• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
Hello, since yesterday I've seen this process on first position at top using 90 - 98% cpu.
I've already kill it and it back again.

Do you know whatcould this be?

Thank you!

Process:
21759 root 35 10 48840 22m 736 R 93.5 2.3 807:58.61 /usr/bin/perl /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager domains-id --owner-uid=9ecexxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx729c --dump-rotation=5 --session- (...)

still running:

21759 root 35 10 48840 22m 736 R 94.8 2.3 1072:11 /usr/bin/perl /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager domains-id --owner-uid=9ece*729c --dump-rotation=5 --session-

Same problem after upgrading from 9.5.2 to 9.5.4

Can somebody tell me exactly what is this "plesk_agent_manager"?

The reason I had a very busy mail server that was running fine for well over a year but after an upgrade to 9.5.4 it has really slowed days. After days of troubleshooting I have finally managed to correlate this process 'plesk_agent_server' with the high CPU.

It seems that this process launches more child processes which combined slows down the server. Please help!

Sub processes command:

14096 /usr/bin/perl /opt/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager server --owner-uid=00000000 ...
14098 /usr/bin/perl /opt/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager server --owner-uid=00000000 ...
14099 /bin/gzip
14100 /usr/bin/perl /opt/psa/admin/bin/plesk_agent_manager server --owner-uid=00000000 ...
