• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question pleskback with exclude-domain doesn't work correctly

New Pleskian
Hello,

i am using Plesk Obsidian 18.0.23. For many year I use pleskbackup for backup.

Since this year I have a problem. It 's doesn't work correct.

/usr/local/psa/bin/pleskbackup server --exclude-domain=xxxx.yyyy.zzz --s 512M --backup-password=xyz --output-file=/xxxxxxx/yyyyyyyyyyy/zzzzz.tar
nor
/usr/local/psa/bin/pleskbackup server -exclude-domain=xxxx.yyyy.zzz -s 512M -backup-password=xyz -output-file=/xxxxxxx/yyyyyyyyyyy/zzzzz.tar

Formerly I have to use two - "--", now in the Help-File I have to use one - "-".

Both versions doesn't work correct. The domainfiles aren't excluded. The backupfile is to big.

Want can I do?

Cu Chris

But it is Plesk Onyx for Windows bug, but you have posted the issue in Plesk for Linux forum section. And no mentions that it was reseller's domain.

you are right. i'm running on linux: ‪Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS‬

I'm using "Web Pro Edition". 0 reseller, 4 clients, 13 domains.

I can't disable the backup for client with id 2. this client has one domain "xxx.yyyy.com". I tried to exclude the client-name, the domain and die clientname plus domain. always it will backup all.

my actual workaround: id backup client-id 1,3,5,6

it there another way?
