pop3 and smtp

just have installed plesk and i have a problem with my e-mail.

I can use webmail but when i try to use pop3 or smtp it says that the account information is incorrect while i'm sure that it's correct.

for mailservers i use mail.domainname.ext

Does have anyone an idea what i'm doing wrong??
