Port Forwarding in Plesk 8.2

Hello all,

I'm using a virual server with Plesk 8.2 installed.
I need to use a socket on a custom port for an application that I wrote, but I can't do any communication on that port.
I tried to configure the firewall, adding the rule on the firewall to the port I need, but nothing changes.

Can someone give me some advices on how i can make my socket communicate through that port?
