Well, I come here after having exhausted many issues.
I have a camera (Trendnet) that transmits to a Domain on a Dedicated Server managed with Plesk. We notice a pattern, that after about 2 days, the camera stops sending images to the ftp server. We then used the same camera and uploaded to another ftp server, and it successfully uploaded images for 7+ days and was reset during a server switch.
I come here asking if there is any type of security built into plesk/proftpd that would disable an IP from sending to the server if it detects 'hacking' like transmissions? The camera was originally set to transmit every 22 seconds, but we increased that to 75 seconds, yet still, after two days of transfer, it locks up.
Any insight is greatly appreciated!
