• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Postfix doesn't send e-mails outside localhost

Ivo

Basic Pleskian
Hello

We have plesk 12.5 upgraded to latest version, last week we noticed an issue with postfix.

Every mail sent outside localhost was stuck in mailq with following error
connect to something.com[19.29.89.26]:25: Connection timed out).
Doesn't matter if I sent to gmail, hotmail, yahoo or some site error is always the same and mails just stand there in mailq.

Receiving works normal and sending to domains on same server works also.

I have disabled plesk firewall, reinstalled postfix and tried some workarounds found in your faq https://kb.plesk.com/en/124546, or using /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam.

None of that helped.

Any idea where should I check next or what should we try? Or why it worked fine for 1 year and started going berserk last week.
