Why plesk 11.5 still coming with the wrong authentication method?

By default Plesk (even 11.5.30) comes with IDENT method, which is deprecated since years ago : http://kb.parallels.com/en/116324

/var/lib/pgsql/data/pg_hba.conf
host    all         all         ::1/128               ident

So, why not just change it to MD5 or password by default? In any case mostly people uses other methods but ident.

In every single server I manage I have to change that to MD5 every time...

We have already submitted request PPP-2025 regarding this issue. Developers are working on it and fix will be included in one of nearest Plesk update.
