  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved [PPP-26499] Webmail & specified mailserver IP

j00m

New Pleskian
After upgrading from 12.5 to Onyx I noticed possible issue with webmail. If I change the outgoing mail mode from 'send from domain IP address' to 'send from the specified IP address' using some other IP than domain IP, webmail stops working when webserver configuration files gets rebuild what ever reason.

In DNS settings webmail.domain.tld points to domain IP but

/etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/webmails/domain.tld_webmail.conf has something like this:

<VirtualHost [IP set in outgoing mail mode]:7080 127.0.0.1:7080>
ServerName "webmail.domain.tld"

Has it always been like this or am I missing something?
