Presence builder and IE 11 (win 8.1)

JussiK

New Pleskian
There seems to be a problem with presence builder and IE 11 with windows 8.1. There comes an error which states that you should use IE 8 or later. Web presence builder version is 11.5.8. Is this already fixed in the new 11.5.9? I can't see from changelog that it would have been fixed. We have already had some customers who have complained about this problem.

IE11 has not been released when we released WPB 11.5 Therefore, it is not supported.
It will be fully supported in upcoming WPB 12.0

Internet Explorer 11 has now been released and is a standard Windows update. Many people have automatic updates on their computer and their browsers have updated.

A lot of things don't function in IE 11 - such as linking to files.

Also says that Presence Builder is not compatiable with IE 11 after going into the admin panel and clicking "edit website". It opens in a new tab and then that is the error that displays in BIG red text.

Can this release be soon - have a few upset customers.

Doesn't work in Internet Explorer 11

Everybody is updating to IE 11 and Web Presence Builder is not compatible.

Any idea when the update is going to be?

Have tested it on IE 9, 10 and 11 and Maxthon. Does not work on Maxthon anymore or IE11.

Pretty buggy in Google Chrome as well.

Is there any update soon for this please?

Many things do not show up in IE 11 from the user point of view.

Many things can't be edited by the admin.

Customers are not happy and constantly wanting solutions - they are frustrated.

We are working on support IE11 in WPB 11.5. At the moment I have not any ETA when it will be implemented.

Any idea on how this update is going? ... you guys have know about this not being compatiable with IE11 since the start of December 2013. It is now 15th of January 2014 and still no updates :(

Any news on this? It's already late Feb 2014 and we're running the latest Plesk integrated Web Presence Builder 11.5.11 and the IE11 customers are still "welcomed" with notification "Unfortunately, your browser is not supported by Web Presence Builder. Please use the latest version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari." (Running Plesk 11.5.30 MU #31).

Adding links with IE11 won't work either.

This is just a shame how low priority Parallels takes on fixing their top products. They just keep telling that "it will be fixed in Plesk 12". Yeah, sure and there there will be just IE12 released that will be supported in Plesk 13 couple of years later.

Igor,

Do you have a feature/fix list available for the upcoming v2.0 release? Also an ETA would be fantastic, when there's a deal-breaking bug such as the software not being compatible with one of the most popular browsers, we'll need a bit more of a commitment from Parallels as I'm sure a lot of these people have customers biting at their ankles each and every day.

It is far beyond the joke ... we are paying monthly for this product and trying to sell a product that doesn't function. People are NOT buying the product.

The best Parallels can say is don't use IE11 ... fine for me, not the people we are trying to sell too or the people that cancelled. They all have WINDOWS AUTO-UPDATES and have IE11.

Have been using Wordpress and going to cancel Presence Builder if there are no solutions real soon. Over 2 months now this has been going on.

At least you can customise your website with access to CSS with Wordpress, everything functions and there are no limitations as there is in this program.

Hi everyone.

We're planning to release WPB 11.5.12 with IE11 support by the end of next week. Sorry it took so long -- IE has a long history of making things difficult with its, uh, creative interpretation of web standards... ;)
