Question Prestashop : caches module

Hi,

I would like to enable one cache for all sites hosted on my server.
Can you tell me the best one ? and how to install it ?

memcache / APC / xcache .
For Xcache :
apt-get install php5-xcache
E: Impossible de trouver le paquet php5-xcache
The common package is installed ...


For memcache :
apt-get install php5-memcached
OK
I've added it to
/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/20-memcached.ini
and restart apache .. but
echo "stats settings" | nc localhost 11211 --> connection refused
