• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Prevent removing files on File Manager

Dear Support,

How Can I prevent users removing file web.config on FileManager?

P.S. I try set attribute read-only, but not effect.

Plesk writes all settings in base IIS config. web.config is custom config which may be created directly from IIS manager or this config is necessary for some webapplication. It is customer's config and he can do with it whatever he wants.

Question: How Administrators can block one page on customer's web-sites, if customer's can remove web.config from FileManager, when Administrators set attribute read-only and change owner - I thinks isn't good.
P.S. As I see only suspend subscription, that isn't good solution.

If I correctly understood you want to selective blocking site? We haven't this feature, but you can request it on Plesk uservoice site.
