Problem with .fr domain name

We've been running Plesk for a couple of months now and haven't had any (large) problems until one of our customers wanted to register a .fr domainname. The french domainname authorities are very strict and it seems we have something wrong with our PTR records.

They use zonecheck to check the nameservers, so I also did that and got the following error.

[TEST SOA record present]: server failure (IN/SOA: 1.0.0.127.in-addr.arpa.)

Is there any way to fix this in Plesk? If so, how?

Thanks.

First you need to check if you have a PTR record (reverse DNS) on the 2 DNS Nameservers defined for your server.

Without 2 valid PTR Records, zonecheck will fail.

Also hosting for the domain .fr must be created before making the zonecheck.

Regards,
Marc
