problem with ftp connect

Hi,

It is a stupid problem with my ftp manager.

I can't access to my ftp account. Probably I use incorrect sever or username.

In server I write my ip of sever
In username I write parallelAccount@ftpUser
In port I use 8443 because it is open. Additional port 22 is open too.

Of course I've tried a lot of mix but it didn't work.

Thank for help.

Ftp uses port 21, not 8443 or 22.
Port 8443 is for https and 22 is for SSH.

Maybe this helps.

ok but how can I open a port 21? via SSH? If yes can you write me some tutorials?

I think I am missing something here.
What program do you use to make the ftp connection?
