problem with ld.so.reload

I have never seen this before, but all of sudden I get this error message I cannot access my server any longer:

ERROR: ld.so: object '/tmp/getuid.so' from /etc/ld.so.preload cannot be preloaded: ignored.

Any help would be appreciated. I also looed for the /tmp/getuid.so file and its not there. Is it needed?
