• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Problem with Plesk Restore Utility

During the course of testing a new server I created a backup of all clients/domains using the Backup utiltiy. Subsequently the entire machine was reimaged. After re-upgrading Plesk back up to 6.5.2 using the update tool I went to restore the full original configuration. The tool reported that all clients and domains were reimported successfully.

However, those sites are no long accessible. Upon attempting to view a restored site an HTTP authenticaion box appears. As a test I created a new domain under a "restored" client. It too had the same authentication problem. For giggles I created a brand new client /domain. The brand new client/domain worked properly.

Any ideas?
