• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Problems with cronjob: 50plesk-daily cron hangs.

New Pleskian
Hello

I have problems with the 50plesk-daily cron. The process of the 50plesk-daily cron simply hangs. And as result customers who have reached their limits continue to work instead of being stopped or disabled.

For 5 uptime days I have 5 processes like this in my process list:

root 98242 0.0 0.0 1448 1216 ?? I Mon12AM 0:00.00 cron: running job (cron)
root 98243 0.0 0.0 1708 1208 ?? Is Mon12AM 0:00.00 /bin/sh -c /usr/local/psa/bin/run-parts.sh /usr/local/etc/psa/plesk-cron.daily
root 98244 0.0 0.0 1712 1248 ?? I Mon12AM 0:00.00 /bin/sh /usr/local/psa/bin/run-parts.sh /usr/local/etc/psa/plesk-cron.daily
root 98245 0.0 0.0 1704 1204 ?? I Mon12AM 0:00.00 /bin/sh /usr/local/etc/psa/plesk-cron.daily/50plesk-daily
root 98246 0.0 0.6 28948 24844 ?? I Mon12AM 0:00.38 /usr/local/bin/sw-engine -c /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/php.ini /usr/local/psa/admin/pl

The cron scrips are binary, and I have no way to test or check if there are any problems with them.
Please, suggest how I can check where is the problem and solve it ASAP.
I'm running Plesk 9.0.1 on the FreeBSD 6.4.

Thanks in advance.
