• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

proftpd.include keeps getting overwritten

Hi,

This is a problem that has been happening since version 8.0.1 came out. My /etc/proftpd.include file keeps getting wiped. I know I'm not supposed to touch the /etc/proftpd.conf file as plesk uses it for FTP configuration.. but why does the include file keep getting wiped? Is this not a file for allowing us to customize our setups?

The reason I need this file unchanged is I use a firewall and require passive FTP ports.. I have the proftpd statement in the include file to include the command PASSIVE PORTS 28000-28015

but since it keeps getting wiped when plesk does updates.. it causes FTP to stop working.

Thanks,
Ron
