qmail auth mail from:local domain

Hello All,

I have enabled Plesk Control Panel to authenticate SMTP for relaying; however, I have a minor irritating spam issues where mail from the local domains to the local domains is not authenticated. Unauthorised senders can then forge the from address as a local sender and send to a local address.

Qmail has some patches to support that; however, I wondered if there was another switch I had to flick in the Control Panel to enable this functionality.

It's a good point. The VPS was provided with qmail and I never questioned that. I guess that's why I might be struggling to find good info on what I'm trying to do.

Does Postfix have this capability already?
