  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Qmail error "possibly qmail-smtpd exited by timeout"

New Pleskian
Hello. Running Plesk 11.0.9. I am seeing errors in my maillog file

qmail-queue-handlers[nnnnn]: possibly qmail-smtpd exited by timeout, reset connection. #011#011#011#011 See "http://pobox.com/~djb/docs/smtplf.html." for get more information.

which may or may not be related to some folks saying they have sent emails to me that never arrive.

Is there a simple way to fix the error? I found an old thread that had a complicated fix for Plesk 10 but am wondering if there is something more current.

SPF spam protection is on, also spam protection based on DNS blackhole lists, and Parallels Premium Antivirus and SpamAssassin.

Thanks. I saw that thread, and that the solution was five years old, complicated, with lots of room to screw things up, and so was hoping there was a more recent, less complicated solution to the problem.
