• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

qmail forgets about forwarding when disk is full

hi,

whenever the disk which holds the Maildirs gets 100% full the last line from the .qmail file which holds the forwarding address (if existing) gets mysteriously deleted.

ok, the disk shouldn't run full in the first place, but when it happens a) why gets especially this line deleted and b) is there a way to sync the forwarding information for all mail accounts held in the psa db with the .qmail files on disk?

got an answer from the plesk support which i want to share with you:

Hello Pat,

Yes, the disk should be 100% full, probably internal check/update forwarding function fails because of this and that's why .qmail file looses this line when it is updated.

To recheck/rebuild/restore all qmail user config files, please run /opt/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam --daemon-mode

The command works in background and may take much time, you can check while it finishes with 'ps ax | grep mchk'

I ran this command with --whithout-spam because i use 4psa's antispam solution.

I had to update my 4psa antispam and antivirus modules because mchk blindly deletes everything in the .qmail files but this is done in a breeze,
