qmail messages stuck in queue

Hi,

Setup domains thruoh plesk. All mail I send through php get stuck in the qmail queue. When I check the logs, I see the following message:

Sorry _I_wasn't_able_to_establish_an_SMTP_connection._(#4.4.1)

Any help on why this happeningwould be appreciated.
