qmail recipient question

hi,

i dont like qmail and i dont use qmail, but Plesk does.
But its easy to administrate it, because there are no modern features...

One question:

Why isnt the plesk qmail setup able to check if a recipient exists at smtp connection time, like Postfix Virtual Hashes/Maps?

My Plesk setup caches every email invoked by network and if the recipient doesnt exists it send a bounce message, which isnt deliverable in 99% of all cases because its spam.

There are three options for dealing with mail to non-existant users:

1) Bounce with a message (bad idea)
2) Forward to another mailname (you can create one without a mailbox, thus creating a black hole)
3) Reject.

Number 3 is what you want.

You configure these options for a domain by clicking on the Mail icon and then on the Preferences icon (I think -- I'm doing this from memory).
