• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

qmail-scanner clamav problem

jnarvaez

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I'm having trouble installing qmail-scanner with clamav and spamassassin posted by turttle. BTW great job!

I got the message: "451 qq temporary problem (#4.3.0)" everytime i send a message.
The only way I get email service working again, was uninstall clamd (rpm -e clamd) and reconfiguring mail-scanner (qmail-scanner-reconfigure).

If I try again (yum install clamd & qmail-scanner-reconfigure) i get the same problem.

Any idea?
Any help would be apreciated

another solution? I think it should be something wrong with permissions or something like that.

thanks anyway

Check your permissions of qmail-queue. It could be a small permissions issue with that file and the files it re-writes. ls -al /var/bin/qmail-queue should give us everything we need to give you feedback.

now, with clamd uninstalled:

[root@lincl89 ~]# ls -al /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue
-rwsr-sr-x 1 qmailq qmail 4643 dic 7 13:28 /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue

thanx!
