I am running a server using Plesk 10.2.0 on debian 2.6.32-5-amd64
One of my customers tried to send an email but received a bounce message from the daemon.
Sorry, I couldn't find a mail exchanger or IP address. (#5.4.4)
After some research i found the according article at the Parallels KB which concludes stating "This message means that Qmail failed to get the MX and A records for the 'destination_server'. In other words, the destination server is not resolved"
This, of course, is not very helpful. I then logged on to the server per SSH and tried to dig the MX record, which worked perfectly fine.
dig domain-masked.org MX
...
;; ANSWER SECTION:
domain-masked.org. 85282 IN MX 10 mail.domain-masked.org.
Could anyone point me to the right direction here? Why is this happening? And what can i do to resolve the issue?
Thank You!
