Query about Plesk

nitaish

New Pleskian
Hello,

We are looking for a Windows Hosting control panel for shared hosting with the following structure.

There will be one server with IIS and MS DNS server installed which will act as the master server to control all the slave servers. The DNS server in the server will act as a primary DNS server. We will have a remote Database server running MS SQL 2005 server and a Remote Mail Server running Smartermail server. We will have a secondary DNS server too which we will install in any of the existing slave servers. The website created in any server should have the DNS zones created in both the DNS servers. There should be a provision for adding more and more slave servers as per the requirements. We will set a limit of hosting in the web servers, Database servers and mail servers and once the limit is reached, we should be able to add more servers in the cluster so that the new websites/Databases/mail domains should create on the new server. An example given below will explain better

Server A - Master Server (Running IIS and DNS) - Limit of websites 600 and unlimited DNS zones
Server B - Slave Server acting as a remote Database server - Limit of databases 500 MS SQL 2005 DBs
Server C - Slave Server acting as a remote Mail Server - Limit of mail domains 3000
Remote DNS Server (Included in any of the above Slave Servers)

Now suppose, the limit of 600 hosted websites is reached in Server A, then we should be able to add Server D which will again have a limit of 600 hosted websites and the websites created from the control panel will get automatically created in Server D. Similarly, when the limit of 500 databases is reached in Server B, then we will add Server E. and all the new databases should be created in Server E. The same applies to the mail server.
Let us know if the above scenario is possible in Plesk? Let us know soon so that we can plan our deployment strategy accordingly.
